This class is a basic gardening class covering topics like spring planting from seed and transplants, caring for your garden, soil amending, using compost, fertilizers, and controlling pests.  This will be a hands-on class.  Bring a chair and notepad.  Handouts will be given with planting times and guidelines.   This class is good for beginners, new to the area growers and even garden enthusiasts! All classes are in the garden @ Ali's Organics. 

We start this class early in the season to help you prepare for the spring and summer growing season on schedule!  You might want to bring a jacket, hat and possibly gloves!

Incase of inclement weather we will reschedule for the following Saturday. Inclement weather is: Rain, Snow, Wind (high wind, not a breeze). Weather is out of our control and teaching in the garden gives everyone a better experience.   Mark you calendar for possible date change.  You will be contacted via email if we need to cancel.  We will also post here on this page if the class is canceled.
