This class is generally 1 1/2 hour workshop. 

In this small, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn exactly what sourdough discard is, how it differs from active starter, and how to confidently use it in everyday baking—without stress or guesswork.

  • How discard differs from active starter

  • How to store and manage discard properly

  • Easy ways to use discard in sweet and savory recipes

  • Tips for getting consistent, great results at home

This class is small and limited in size to ensure the best experience for everyone. It’s a perfect follow-up to the Sourdough Bread Making Class, but also great for anyone already baking sourdough at home or the beginner.
