Pre-1890 Cherokee Indian heirloom variety. Beautiful deep dusky brownish-purple color with green shoulders, superb sweet flavor, and very large sized fruit. This treasured tomato has just the right balance of sweetness and even a hint of smoke. making it a winner in taste tests. Try this one for real old-time tomato flavor. This is a favorite pick of ours to grow in our greenhouse.  From summer to fall, you'll harvest more then enough 10-12 oz. tomatoes from this well regarded heirloom variety. Provide support for vigorous vines that reach 6' or more.
