Fava Bean has tall green stalks that produces one of the nitrogen nutrients over any other cover crop. Dainty white flowers with black centers attract beneficial insects. Seeds can be sown in temperatures as low as 35° F, and plants are fast growing and very cold hardy. Great for breaking up even heavy clay and compacted soils. Cold tolerant making it the perfect cover crop for fall or spring.
